Album Cover

Intention:

My intention for this project was to create an album cover for the Pittsburg State University, Department of Music. I designed it so that each section of the department (Keyboards, Strings, Choir, and Band) had their own spot for their information.

Target Audience:

            Target audience is people who appreciate the more traditional classic style of music.

Call to action:  For the viewer to want to open the cover, read the information and be intrigued enough to listen to the music illustrated

Publication Ad

I created a full page ad  for Cosmopolitan magazine. I used a photograph from iStockphoto.com that was free to use for this project. My target audience are young adults from the ages of 18-25 in the middle to upperclass income range. The Call to action is to visit the Express website.

Full Page ad was a trim size of 8" x 10.875" with a .25" margin and .125" bleed

Collegio Newspaper Ad

This is a mock Newspaper Ad I did for class....and also doubled as a publicity piece for the Band 2 Steps Back playing at the grand re-opening of the dance club that was supposed to be renamed The Double Down Dancehall & Saloon.

Rough Draft and work up of formula ideas. I decided on the 5.75" x 7.5" dimension for my Newspaper Ad resulting in an overall cost of $90.00
